Abstract:

The paper took the Web of Science core collection SCI-E database as the paper data source, and used the Derwent data analyzer and the scientific knowledge mapping software VOSviewer and Gephi to conduct a bibliometric analysis on the relevant papers in the field of single-atom catalysis. The paper found that related papers in the field of single-atom catalysis continue to grow. The content of the papers not only involve the basic theoretical research of single-atom catalysis, but also have begun to involve its application research. China is at the top level in the field of single-atom catalysis internationally. The Chinese Academy of Sciences, Tsinghua University, and the U.S. Department of Energy laboratories are the three institutions with the largest number of publications in the field of single-atom catalysis. The Universities of science and technology have obvious advantages in the field of single-atom catalysis. The researchers have a close cooperation relationships, which have formed research teams with a certain scale. The research topics can be divided into 4 specific research directions including the type and the performance of single-atom catalysts, the applications of single-atom catalysts, the supports and characterization techniques of single-atom catalysts and the theoretical calculation methods of single-atom catalysts. Finally, the paper summarized the analysis results and looked forward to the development prospects and challenges in the field of single-atom catalysis, in order to play a positive role in promoting the research in the field of single-atom catalysis.
